UFI welcomes Chloe Neill Author of The Chicagoland Vampires Series. Thanks for Joining us!!
Hi, everyone, and welcome to the BITING BAD Blog Tour! From July 29, 2013 to August 9, 2013 (click here for full schedule), I’m visiting blogs to give Merit an opportunity to rate the men of the Chicagoland Vampires series–are they “Book Boyfriend” material? Let’s see what she has to say.
Catcher Bell, Ombuddy
Hair/eye color: Shaved Head/Pale green
Species: Sorcerer
First appearance in book (book/page): SGB, page 84
Thoughts: He’s a skilled sorcerer, my former trainer, my best friend’s boyfriend, and a lover of Lifetime movies. I’d call him a man with a warm heart and very grumpy exterior.
Verdict: C+ / Book boyfriend material for those with patience.=)

Chloe Neill is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Chicagoland Vampires and Dark Elite series.
She was born and raised in the South, but now makes her home in the Midwest–just close enough to Cadogan House and St. Sophia’s to keep an eye on things. When not transcribing Merit’s and Lily’s adventures, she bakes, works, and scours the Internet for good recipes and great graphic design. Chloe also maintains her sanity by spending time with her boys–her favorite landscape photographer/husband and their dogs, Baxter and Scout. (Both she and the photographer understand the dogs are in charge.)
Biting Bad
Chicagoland Vampires #8
Merit has been a vampire for only a short while, but she’s already seen a lifetime’s worth of trouble. She and her Master, centuries-old Ethan Sullivan, have risked their lives time and again to save the city they love. But not all of Chicago is loving them back.
Anti-vampire riots are erupting all over town, striking vampires where it hurts the most. A splinter group armed with Molotov cocktails and deep-seated hate is intent on clearing the fanged from the Windy City come hell or high water.
Merit and her allies rush to figure out who’s behind the attacks, who will be targeted next, and whether there’s any way to stop the wanton destruction. The battle for Chicago is just beginning, and Merit is running out of time.

I think Biting Bad has moved in at the #1 spot for favorite CVS book, but before that, Friday Night Bites had been for awhile.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I can really pick a favorite. I have my favorite moments in different books but I love them all.
ReplyDeleteI haven't finished Biting Bad yet so I can't count that one. I enjoyed all the books but the first book is one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteSome Girls Bite, the 1st book, is my fav today. Simply bc it introduced me to the Chicagoland Vamps. If you asked me again tomorrow, I'd probably have different answer! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read this series yet :( I have the first 4(?) books in my TBR pile... they are being saved for my vacation this fall! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteTwice Bitten is probably my favorite with Hard Bitten close on its heals. If it wasn't for the ends of HB it probably would of been my favorite but it absolutely tore my heart out! But Bad Bitten is getting great reviews so who knows it may move up to #1.
ReplyDeleteSo far my favorite is Twice Bitten and House Rules is a close second.
ReplyDeleteI love all the books in this series! If I had to pick only one, my favorite is Twice Bitten. Thanks for the fantastic giveaway!
ReplyDeleteProbably Some Girls Bite and Twice Bitten. The first book in a series always has to grab you or you won't finish and SGB definitely did that. So excited to read Biting Bad!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is definitely the first book, Some Girls Bite, but I also love the second, Friday Night Bites. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of Biting Bad!
ReplyDeleteI think the first book has been my favorite for ages now. I love all the rest, it's just the first book sets the scene if you will.
ReplyDeleteSome Girls Bite, but I really don't like to pick just one, because I really love them all. Thanks for sharing Biting Bad and the giveaway. I am looking forward to reading it. evamillien at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteHard Bitten-Biting Bad
ReplyDeleteI loved Twice Bitten, but Hard Bitten is a close second! :)
ReplyDeleteI really liked House Rules, also, Twice Bitten. I love all of them but those two are just awesome.
ReplyDeleteDrink Deep was my favorite cause it was the book that really pushed Merit to the test and proved that no matter what she is strong and can overcome anything. She really proved herself to be independent and able to withstand anything either with a partner or on her own. She became the vampire I knew she could be.
ReplyDeleteI am going to say Some Girls Bite as that is where it started for me. I have some catching up to do, but am enjoying the ride so far :)
ReplyDeleteAlthough it's hard to pick a favorite, I would say the first book, Bad Girls Bite.
ReplyDeletenone; haven't read the series yet
