I hate having to admit that I kinda had a hard time connecting to DELIRIUM at first, I found myself getting distracted by other things and putting the book down a lot. However in saying that Delirium is very beautifully written and grew on me as the story went on. The main character Lena starts off like everyone else, following rules, wanting to be "cured" of the disease of Amor Deliria Nervosa (aka Love) only to fall and love. The connection between Lena and Alex comes off heartfelt and strong. The characters grow on you and you find yourself wanting to know more about them. The ending ends on a bit of a cliffhanger but not so big of one that your left wanting a true ending. Delirium is the first novel in a trilogy and I cant wait to see what happens next in PANDEMONIUM.
