Mission #2 brings sizzling kisses and deadly vengeance

Beatrice Alexander is still adjusting to life as a secret special agent, wiping out zombies and other supernatural threats. Now, a new case requires partnership with her annoying and gorgeous vampire co-worker Oliver. To infiltrate the goth vamp scene in Dallas, Texas, they must go undercover as a married couple and, Oliver's convincing public affection has Bea swooning in her bustier and fishnets. Clubbing with the undead turns bloody when Oliver's old enemy, the vampire lord of Dallas, turns up.

TO CATCH A VAMPIRE is pretty much just Beatrice and Oliver working undercover together as a married couple. My only problem with the book? I really loved Will and now I really love Oliver. I have no idea who to root for anymore. I'm not really crazy about the covers for this series but I'm glad I picked up book 1 despite it and book 2 was just as good.

I have really enjoyed getting to know Bea and the rest of the FREAKS. They each have there very own personality to add to the book and they all make it that much more interesting. Bea is still adjusting to her new life but she fits in perfectly with everyone else and is really kicking some ass. It was awesome to see Beatrice and Oliver connect and work so well together. They didn't get along as good in the beginning but as the book progressed you could tell they were growing closer and connecting more.  I also liked digging into some of Oliver's past. He is so mysterious and it was nice to get a better picture of him. Bea's brother, wow that is about all I can say about that. I couldn't even imagine being that bitter towards someone, especially that I'm related to. Like book 1 there is plenty of action and suspense throughout TO CATCH A VAMPIRE.

This has been a rather enjoyable series. The characters are likable the plot is engaging and the world is easy to fall into.

I gave it 4/5 stars
