This weeks question comes from

Carmel @ Rabid Reads

"Carmel is studying web design... What did you study in college, or are currently studying and did it lead to your current 9 to 5 or are you doing something totally different?"

I didn't go to college. I got married and started a family and was a stay at home mom for 7 years, now I work from home doing in home daycare.

This week's question comes from :  Alex who blogs at Geek on the Brink:

"What do you consider the most important in a story: the plot or the characters?"

wow that is a tough one. Ummmm....... hmmmmm...yeah...I guess I would have to go with characters as I have to like the characters to get into the plot of the story but then I say that and now I say plot because I have to like the plot to. So yeah I dont know after all. lol

  3. Hi. Hopping by and new follower. Loving your blog header btw :)

I totally agree that it's difficult to say which is more important than the other - plot vs characters, since both are so intrinsically vital for the story.

    cheers and happy reading :)

  8. I did not go to college, and I am currently retired. I worked for over 15 years in the secretarial division of Emery Air Freight in the 1960s and 1970s. I was a stay-at-home mom for the 1980s and 1990s, and now I am helping my daughter with her business, Tribute Books as the volunteer office manager.

  9. This might be the best Book Blogger Hop question I've seen to date.

So what's the answer? Plot! Hop over to my blog and let me tell you how a good plot rescued bad characters from bad book oblivion.

  10. Happy HOP! At first thought, both are important to me but ultimately - it's the characters. Enjoy your weekend and I'm a new follower :D

  11. Cool blog, I do love UF and PNR.

Such a tough question, plot or character, but had to choose the latter at the end too

I am temporarily turning on word verification because of the 30+ spammer comments a day UFI is currently receiving. Hopefully having it on for a few days will make that go down but Im sorry for the extra step you will need to take in the meantime. Thanks for stopping by =)
