"History is on repeat, and things didn't go so well the last time. "

Alexandria isn't sure she's going to make it to her eighteenth birthday--to her Awakening. A long-forgotten, fanatical order is out to kill her, and if the Council ever discovers what she did in the Catskills, she's a goner... and so is Aiden.

If that's not freaky enough, whenever Alex and Seth spend time "training"--which really is just Seth's code word for some up-close and personal one-on-one time--she ends up with another mark of the Apollyon, which brings her one step closer to Awakening ahead of schedule. Awesome.

But as her birthday draws near, her entire world shatters with a startling revelation and she's caught between love and Fate. One will do anything to protect her. One has been lying to her since the beginning. Once the gods have revealed themselves, unleashing their wrath, lives will be irrevocably changed... and destroyed.

Those left standing will discover if love is truly greater than Fate...

I thank the day i discovered Jennifer L Armentrout's books.  Every book in the Covenant series has been fast paced, full of action, danger and suspense and has had me glued to the pages from the first paragraph. DEITY is a huge game changer for the series as truths come out and when Alex's 18th birthday hits nobody is safe.  The situations and emotions throughout the book will leave you feeling like you've been hit by a truck. The series gets better and better with each book.

I really feel I would give away spoilers if I say to much so I will keep this review with some simple thoughts. Alex has absolutely zero downtime. She is constantly under scrutiny and is constantly in trouble with the higher ups. Aiden is still in the front of her mind along the way as she tries to give Seth a chance. I have really enjoyed all of the characters in the series so far. DEITY brings everyone back together as they fight towards a common goal and try to figure out what they will do after everything they know implodes. The ending, holy crud. The suspense is killer and the danger is at an all time high. The last chapter will have you screaming at Jennifer to hurry up with APOLLYON because you will be dying to know what happens next. I LOVE this series and I have no doubt that you will too.

I gave it 5/5 stars
