Sasha’s future was stolen from her the moment she was bitten. Now she's on the run from the Nero Organization that transformed her from a human detective into a shape shifting jaguar assassin.

When a rogue bounty hunter threatens her younger sister, she'll be forced to fight, and with nowhere else to turn, Sasha will need to trust the one man who has every reason to want her dead.

Aren is a werewolf with a secret. While protecting his twin brother and Alpha of the Pack, he found his one mate for life. Sadly she's also the jaguar assassin who tried to kill them both. Now Aren is struggling between his animal nature to love and protect her, and his loyalty to the Pack.
I suppose that you could read HUNTER'S MOON as a stand alone, but why would you want to? Take my advice and pick up book 1 MOONLIGHT before diving into book 2. We originally meet Sasha and Aren as supporting characters in MOONLIGHT when Sasha kidnaps him to get to Lana and even though she shot him he can't get her out of his mind.

Sasha was turned against her will and instead of embracing her new life she does everything in her power to chase the past. Now there is a rogue after her and he's threatening her sister. She turns to the last person expected to help her out. When Aren was taken by Sasha in book 1 it only took one touch to know that Sasha was his mate. Although he hates the idea he can't help but chase after her and keep her safe from those intent on hurting her.

I am always worried when I go into a series with different main characters in each book but again I worried for nothing. The non-stop action and danger that these characters brought to the book keeps you on your toes. The attraction and tension between Aren and Sasha was just as steamy as I wanted it to be. You can't help but fall in love with the supporting characters as well as your reading. I enjoyed the continued storyline with its new twists and I look forward to seeing whose story will be thrown in next. I fell head over heels for this series with book 1 and book 2 did not disappoint!

I gave it 4/5 stars
