It has about everything you could ask for Mystery, suspense, action, romance, HUMOR OMG you will laugh your behind off, I dont think I went a few pages without laughing in the entire book. Charley's Personality ROCKS she is Witty, sassy, sarcastic, and determined with horrible luck but I absolutely want her to be my BFF. Reyes is dark, mysterious and sexy as can be. He has many secrets and it was fun to be a witness to Charley peeling back some of the layers of him. I can not wait to get my hands on SECOND GRAVE ON THE LEFT it cant come out soon enough for me.

It started out with a girl who didn't know who or what she was and ended with a girl with a family history and future I could never have guessed would be revealed. The pacing of the book is fantastic, it moves and flows in and out of situations that leaves you wanting to read what comes next. I loved the setting. Post Hurricane disaster New Orleans is a place all its own, owned privately after the government washed its hands of it and now filled with magic, mystery and unpredictable situations.  Ari is defiantly a young heroine to keep your eyes on.

I very much enjoyed it, Didn't want to stop reading it, didn't want it to end. The book starts out with action and mystery and ends with action and mystery. The Chemistry between the 2 main characters is there from the start and builds wonderfully. The romance is off the wall sexy and steamy. We got lots of fantastic information to help us through the story at a wonderful pace. The secondary characters were introduced into the story well so that we are intrigued and wanting to get to their future books to find out more about them. I enjoyed Dianne Duvall's writing style and the world she has created for The Immortal Guardians, great kickoff to a series I will defiantly continue reading.
