Need Opinions....

I got an invitation to use Raffle Copter and need opinions on weather to use it or not.

How do you like to enter giveaways? Do you prefer the comment only route, Google doc route or would you like to do raffle copter?

Since you all are the ones that enter what would be the easiest for you? If we do Raffle copter there still might be commenting involved as authors sometimes like us to ask questions so keep that in mind.

  1. I do like comment only entering because it is quick, but I don't mind raffle copter.

  2. A lot of times when people use rafflecopter, they want comments too. I think it should be one or the other, but it's that individual's giveaway, which they're generous to offer, so I won't complain.

I'm sure rafflecopter is easier for the giver to keep track when there are multiple ways to get entries.

  3. I prefer Rafflecopter or Google doc. I don't like the idea of leaving my email and usernames (which is sometimes my real name) out there for everyone to see, which most comment giveaways require.

  4. I like rafflecopter and am using it on StuckInBooks.com. I have one going now where I ask for a comment and you can get an extra entry on the rafflecopter by commenting.

  7. I like commenting better. I don't mind rafflecopter, but sometimes it can be too much when you have to fill in the form and comment, when you can just put all the info in one comment. Though, I can see how for a blog user a rafflecopter would make things easier. I would prefer to just use one entry method (either form or comment).

  8. So far I like using Rafflecopter. I'd rather not have to comment, but if there's a question to be answered, that's usually fun so it's fine.

  9. Thank you everyone for your opinions, It looks like I will try Rafflecopter. I will only make commenting mandatory when the author requests it or asks a question of you. The first 2 giveaways I have set up will be mandatory comments so dont think it will always be like that. I have high hopes that rafflecopter will make giveaways a bit easier.

  10. I've never even heard of rafflecopter. Now you've got me curious! I do prefer commenting, however. It seems more... I don't know conducive to community building somehow.
